Lana is a heavy weight wool blend embroidery thread, ideal for creating designs which are soft, fluffy or textured, such as animal fur. Strong enough for high speed machines and made for decorative machine embroidery and quilting. Stitching with Lana produces larger stitches and the voluminous thread reduces the number of stitches to cover the design.

Because Lana is a thicker thread it does require a larger needle than traditional machine embroidery threads.

For best results we recommend the use: Wool Lana needles 110#18 art. no. 9452 and bobbin thread universal no. 70 art. no. 9764
